Description
An English delft blue and white plate (Liverpool, c. 1760) decorated in the Chinese export style. The center is painted with a medallion landscape scene depicting buildings on a peninsula with trees and rockwork in the foreground. The rim is painted with a dentil and dot border with four-fan shaped leaves and flower buds.
