Description
A late Chinese Export shallow porcelain plate (Chinese, 1736-1793) with famille rose decorations. The center of the plate is painted with a bouquet of pink and purple flowers against a white ground. This is encircled by a purple and white band with four oblong reserves painted with pink lotus blossoms surrounded by green vines, from this border emanates pink flower petals with reserves containing flower heads.
