A set of twenty hand-painted Chinese export Imari ware plates (Chinese, 19th century) made for the Dutch market. The rims of the plates are decorated with three blue, rust colored, and gilded floral reserves on a white ground. The centers are painted with bamboo stalks and flowers emanating from blue rockwork.
