Description
A silver presentation mug (American, 1845) made by Baldwin & Jones. The mug is of beaker form with an applied foliate-decorated scroll handle. The face of the mug is inscribed in script “The Gift of / C. Grayton Pickman / to / William S. Wetmore / 1845.” The underside of the mug is stamped with a maker’s mark reading “BALWIN & JONES.”
