Description
A sculpted Carrara marble jardinière (Italian, 19th century) attributed to the retailer Olivotti & Co. The body is boat shaped and carved on the exterior with a frieze of dolphins and tridents and a gadrooned bottom. The body is raised on two supports in the form of two back to back dolphins supporting small urns. The whole stands on an oblong narrow marble platform base with rounded ends.
