Description
A pair of rectangular Chinese export famille rose jardinieres (Chinese, late 19th century). The rims are painted with four iron-red flowerheads centered by scrolling vines, the sides are painted with scenes of women and children in a garden setting. The interiors and bottoms are turquoise glazed, the bottoms are marked with red square imperial seals and the word "CHINA" inscribed on the foot rim in red.
