Description
A sterling silver-mounted marble and wood cigar box (American, c. 1900) made by Tiffany & Co. The rectangular box has a hinged lid with a conforming silver border and outset lip. The lid is centered with a small rectangular plaque inscribed with the monogram “CSW.” The four cantered corners have fluted silver mounts, the two short sides with rectangular handles, and the whole sits on a conforming silver base. The interior compartment is lined with wood. The bottom of the cigar box is inscribed "TIFFANY & CO. / 20748 MAKERS 3697 / STERLING SILVER / 925-1000/M."
