Portrait photograph of Judith Page Walker Rives (1802 - 1882), the wife of William Cabell Rives (1793 - 1868). Parts of her face, a gold brooch at the collar of her dress, and a gold chain draped across her bodice have been hand-colored. On the back of the photograph is a note addressed to "Ella" identifying the woman as J.P. Rives.
