Description
A Louis XVI style desk chair (French, 18th century) with a barrel-back, reeded rail with scroll foliate ends, and a circular seat which could originally revolve. It is supported by four fluted tapered legs. The legs are topped by block rosettes along the apron. The chair back and seat have been reupholstered in chartreuse (green) damask which is secured with brass tacks.
