A pair of Regency stands (English, early 19th century) composed of carved wood with a gilt finish. The stands are in the form of neo classical urns raised on square plinths, from the urns emanate columnar fluted shafts wrapped in vines terminating in stepped foliate frond pedestals. This pair of stands originally comes from the Newport estate Hopedene.
