Description
A two-light floor candlestand (American, likely New England, early 18th century) composed of wrought iron and brass. The tall tapering standard of the candlestand is topped with a ring and baluster turned brass finial, a ring-turned brass medial member supports a double candle-arm on an adjustable cage and supports two brass candle cups with circular drip pans, on the lower half of the standard is a brass ring-turned cap, the whole is supported by a tripod base with flattened legs.
