Description
A Jacobean chest-of-drawers (American, likely Southern New England, c. 1690) composed of oak. The chest-of-drawers has a rectangular top with a molded edge above a conforming case containing two small drawers above three long drawers. The drawers are decorated with differing geometric molded panels and are fitted with contemporary metal teardrop pulls, the top and bottom long drawers have central key escutcheons. The whole is raised on four later bracket feet.
