Description
A portrait bust of Lord Byron (English, c. 1875) made by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons, composed out of black basalt. The poet Lord Byron (English, 1788-1824) is depicted with his head turned slightly to the right and wears and open collar shirt, the bust is raised on a circular pedestal base. The reverse is stamped “WEDGWOOD” and “BYRON.”
