Description
A hinged buckle (Chinese, Qing Dynasty, 19th century) with a body composed of green Siberian jade (nephrite). The round section of the buckle is inlaid with a white jade (nephrite) plaque onlaid with a hardstone crane, peach tree, and rock form. The upper hinged section of the buckle is carved in the form of an openwork ju-i (triple petal) head.
