Description
A bottle with a stopper (Chinese, Qing Dynasty, early 19th century) of squat oblong form, composed out of amber. The bottle is carved in relief with a dragon among swirling clouds, a carp, a phoenix, bamboo leaves, flowers, and pine trees. The whole rests on a wooden stand carved with a wave pattern.
