Description
A lidded vase (Chinese, 20th century) composed of carved lapis lazuli. The vase has rounded shoulders with tapering sides. Carved crawling along the sides are three chih-lung dragons surrounding pearls, handles on the lid and neck are in the form of pomegranate spays, and a pomegranate tree rises from the base. The whole is raised on a pierced wooden stand.
