Description
A water coupe (Chinese, Qing Dynasty, 19th century) composed of carnelian agate and raised on a wooden stand. The body is in the form of a ruyi head and is carved on the exterior in high relief with peach sprays, lingzhi mushrooms, and two bats. The whole rests on an openwork carved wooden stand.
