A figurine of Kuan Yin (Chinese, Qing Dynasty, 19th century) composed out of green jade, the whole is raised on a carved teakwood base. Kuan Yin (or Guanyin), the female bodhisattva associated with compassion, is depicted standing in profile with her head tilted, she holds a brush in her right hand and a fan in her right, she is surrounded around the back by an amber colored floral reticulated surround.
