Description
A carved vase (Chinese, Qing Dynasty, 19th century) composed out of blue and white lapis. Of cylindrical form with a slanted opening, the body of the vase is carved in raised relief with a pine tree and two figures (one of which appears to be a scholar). The whole is raised on a carved openwork wooden stand.
