Description
A set of six plates (English, c. 1895) manufactured by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons. The creamware plates are decorated with a blue on white transfer design of pagoda style buildings in a lush landscape setting at the center and flowers with scrolling leaves around the rim.
The reverse of PSNC.5014.1 is impressed “WEDGWOOD” along with an illegible three letter date code and a single letter, printed twice in blue is “WEDGWOOD / ETURIA, ENGLAND.”
