Description
A dinner plate (English, 1934) manufactured by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons, Etruria, Staffordshire. The Queensware plate has a scalloped incised rim and is decorated with a large brightly colored floral sprig at center in shades of pink, purple, yellow, and green on a white ground. The underside of the plate is marked in red “WEDGWOOD / ETRURIA ENGLAND” along with the single letter “E”, and the pattern number “AK8220 / M”, it is impressed “WEDGWOOD / MADE IN ENGLAND” along with a date mark.
