Description
An enamel cloisonné egg with stand (Russian, early 20th century) by an unknown maker. The exterior of the egg is decorated with a stylized floral motif in colored enamels in tones of white, green, red, and blue against a silver gilt ground. The egg twists open to reveal a hollow interior. The egg rests on a gilt silver trip-pod stand with curled feet.
