Description
A George I burl walnut veneer dressing table (English, c. 1720). The inlaid rectangular top has notched corners above a case containing one long drawer over two square drawers flanking a central short drawer, each with contemporary brass bail handles attached to pierced backplates. The long drawer features a matching key escutcheon plate, and the straight bottom has a serpentine cut center raised on four cabriole legs ending in platform pad feet.
