Description
A pair of bud vases (French, late 19th century) made by Samson & Cie. Each of the cylindrical vases has a flared opening rim trimmed with gilt and a long narrow body. The exterior of the vases is painted with small floral bouquets, floral sprigs, and leaves on a white ground. Each is raised on an ormolu circular foot rim. The undersides are maked with false Sevres style marks of two interlaced Ls surrounding the letter "A".
