25th Wedding Anniversary Commemorative Print of Kaiser Wilhelm II and Kaiserin Augusta Victoria

A framed commemorative print (German, 1906) marking the 25th wedding anniversary of Kaiser Wilhelm II (1859-1941) and Kaiserin Augusta Victoria (1858-1921). The print features a cameo medallion of the Kaiser and Kaiserin in profile, held aloft by allegories of fame, the imperial eagle, and backed against an ermine trimmed robe topped with a crown. The border of the print contains medallions on either side with the monograms of the royal couple and the bottom is inscribed "1881 - 27 - II - 1906." The lower right corner of the engraving features a facsimile of the Kaiser's signature: "Wilhelm II, Wilhelmshöhe August 1906."
