Description
A Chinese export filigree dish (Chinese, 1850-1900) made of silver wire. The saucer-shaped dish has two handles on either side made up of adjoined S-curves. The center of the dish features a floral design where the petals have a S-curve inside and small coils of silver rest between each. The body of the dish is divided into sixteen compartments, each housing its own flower design made of filigree and spiraled silver.
