A pair of gourd vases (Chinese, Qing Dynasty, 18th century) in the shape of gourds. The design on these intricate vases features flowers and scrolling foliage in white, blue, green, and red on a turquoise ground. The waist of the vase is decorated in a blue, green, and red geometric design on a white ground, creating a centered border. At the top of the vases are painted wooden stoppers.
