Pair of Chinese Seal Boxes

19th century

A pair of seal boxes (Chinese, 19th century). The fabric covered seal boxes are lined with cotton, the lids of both have the remains of William Henry King’s monogram seal in two different styles. Seal box .1 also contains ivory/bone tools:
