Description
An American Gothic Revival side chair (American, 19th century) made of mahogany with burgundy, navy blue, and cream fabric upholstery. The whole is raised on casters with cabriole back legs and block and turned frontal legs. Gothic trefoil designs are carved into square corner accents above the front two legs. The rectangular backrest contains Gothic trefoil and quatrefoil cutout designs and arched traceries.
