Two octagonal occasional tables (Indian, 19th century) made of teak, ivory, and mother-of-pearl. The larger table (.1) consists of four plank legs with intricate geometric patterns and accents of ivory and mother-of-pearl. The top of the table is in an octagonal shape with two geometric borders and a central chess-like pattern. The smaller of the tables (.2) is raised by hinged legs with arabesque motif cutouts and inlaid designs of stars and vines. Quatrefoil and vines decorate a border along the octagonal top while a large star design is in the center.
