Description
A pair of cloisonne quail incense burners (18th century) made with brass and wood. The heads of the quails are turned in opposite directions, their blue and white bodies feature gilt feather detailing, and their gilt feet stand atop wooden bases. The wings of the quails are removeable, revealing a hollow inside, to form an incense burner.
