Description
A mug (American, c. 1904) made of sterling silver by Black, Starr and Frost. The small mug consists of a scalloped, scrolled handle and an indented design, both with floral details. Under the mug, on the base, is the inscription "David King Maitland Armstrong, Feb. 10, 1904” written in script. The base also includes the maker’s mark for Black Starr & Frost, an eagle atop the company’s name, the word “STERLING” and the numbers “2251A”.
