Description
A snuff box (Dutch, c. 1885) made from enamel and silver in a Rococo style. The oval shaped box consists of a hinged lid, scrolling silver vines on a white enamel ground, and a gold interior. Painted in the Sevres style, the small porcelain plaque of a putto at play accents the center of the lid within an almond-shaped frame.
