Description
A trio of nesting tables (Chinese, c. 1870) made of lacquered wood with pierced end-supports and splayed legs ending in stylized claw toes. These tables were made for David King Jr. in China and bears his initials. The handscroll-shaped illustrations depict daily life in a bustling river town, perhaps Canton (Guangzhou).
