Whale's tooth inscribed with woman seated, holding bonnet on lap, (appears to be from Godey print) full rigged sailing ship on reverse side. Stuart Frank 11/04/2009: Motif copied possibly from magazine; would be a good to use as a teaching piece in exhibit; easily dated to likely 1820-1830.
