A Mid-Victorian gothic, mahogany fall-front secretary (American) by John and Joseph W. Meeks, New York. with a drawer in the frieze and fall-front opening to disclose pigeonholes and small drawers on either side of a recess framed by a pointed arch supported on columns; the lower part enclosed by two paneled doors with pointed arches.
