Landscape with tan building reflected in river, brown and green trees, and mountain in background, pink and blue sky above. In the foreground sits two figures, one male, one female, (legs and hand of female and foot and derriere of male are seen). Figures are mostly hidden by a trompe l'oeil rendering of the catalogue from the show, the cover with these words Descriptive Catalogue of the Pictures in Kings Exhibition Washington Printed by Charles Bird King 1828.
