Description
William Bradford, Jr. (1755-1795), a friend and advisor to George Washington, graduated from Princeton in 1775, served as a Colonel in the Continental Army (1777-1779), and was appointed Attorney General of Pennsylvania in 1780. In 1794, Washington appointed him Attorney General of the United States.
